It was the evening of Saturday the 28th of April 2012. The bonus ball had just dropped, meaning that the lottery numbers for that week were 2, 5, 10, 23, 26, 44 and 11. Eduardo immediately jumped into the time machine. There was a burst of light and an unearthly screech. A moment later Eduardo exited the machine. It was now Friday the 27th of April 50,000,000 AD. His friends, his family, everyone Eduardo had ever known - all dead. The human race was long extinct. Eduardo breathed a sigh of relief. Now he could be happy.
